uSIng noveL information and communication tecHnologies fOr the sUpport of Elderly’s acTive parTicipation in the information society

The aim of the Silhouette project was to focus support for an active and social lifestyle in seniors around the concepts of health safety, novel communication and out of home support through stimulating regional policies and relevant stakeholders in the area.

The project analyzed practices existing in all 7 CREATOR regions to define a portfolio of solutions supporting activity of the elderly, identifying those practically existing in the regions and those that are missing from the regions altogether.

Selected solutions underwent pilot experimentation with the participation of elderly groups and practical demonstrations of solutions will take place in all regions.

The project will also created recommendations for policies on regional open platforms for ICT solutions for active seniors.
