Competitive Health Services: eHealth Solutions across the Northern Periphery
We worked as external experts employed by Swedish project partner Västerbotten County Council and coordinated the Swedish contributions to the project.
Competitive Health Services-project aimed to enhance provision and accessibility ofhealth services in the sparsely populated regions of the Northern Periphery by developing and implementing innovative eHealth solutions. Competitive Health Services-project has a broad partnership with partners from five different countries: Finland, Sweden, Norway, Scotland (UK) and Ireland.
Implementation of the project was accomplished through triple-helix partnerships and the piloting of new eHealth services involving representatives from the public sector, universities and businesses.
The project was funded by the Northern Periphery Programme of the European Union.
